Equatorial Sustainable Design(ESD)

Objective

  • To develop a networking relationship  with other organizations  of the same interest in sharing the principles of the equatorial sustainable environmental design and exchange of information covering all fields in built environment related research and innovation
  • To encourage research and development in the Built Environment Sustainable area specifically the Sustainable Equatorial Design field.
  • To initiate projects for R&D, exchange information through organising small scale seminars between members, symposiums, conferences, congress, workshops at national and international level which will eventually produce material for publications. 
  • To prepare a scientific and technical analysis and a state of the art report and publish the proceedings at the national and international level.
  • To develop a database for the equatorial sustainable environmental design area specifically the Sustainable Equatorial Design field.
  • To advise and provide professional services in the Sustainable Equatorial area specifically the Vernacular Architecture/Tropic field.
